Your role at Clorox:

As a ServiceNow Developer at Clorox, you will design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Employee Center Pro, and related integrations to deliver intuitive, reliable HR experiences for employees and HR partners.
Working as part of the People (HR) Product Team, you will translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions, partnering with HR, IT, and integration teams to streamline HR workflows and data flow between ServiceNow, Workday, and other enterprise systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, refine user stories, and translate them into technical designs for HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and related capabilities.
  • Configure and customize HRSD (case management, lifecycle events, knowledge, and HR services) and Employee Center Pro experiences, including catalog items, topics, taxonomy, and portal components.
  • Design and implement high‑quality configurations and scripts (e.g., business rules, Flow Designer flows, UI policies, client scripts) that support performant and maintainable HR workflows.

Testing, quality, and operations

  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, and use tools such as Automated Test Framework (ATF) where appropriate to ensure stable, regression‑safe releases.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, integrations, and run‑books to support ongoing operations, auditing, and knowledge sharing across the product team.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, defects, and performance issues related to HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to HR and employee operations.

Integrations and automation

  • Build, enhance, and support integrations between ServiceNow and Workday (and other HR/enterprise systems) using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration patterns to enable accurate, timely data exchange.
  • Partner with integration and data teams to design secure, resilient integration architectures that support HR lifecycle events, data synchronization, and downstream reporting needs.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes and implement end‑to‑end workflows and orchestration that improve employee and HR productivity.

Continuous improvement and governance

  • Stay current on ServiceNow releases, HRSD and Employee Center Pro capabilities, and platform leading practices; recommend and implement enhancements aligned to the HR and enterprise roadmaps.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies within the HR Product Team (e.g., backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews) and contribute to platform standards, reusable patterns, and governance.
  • Champion a user‑centric mindset by leveraging analytics, feedback, and design input to iteratively improve HR experiences across the portal, mobile, and other channels.

What we look for:

  • 3–5 years of hands‑on ServiceNow experience (admin or developer).
  • 2 years focused on HRSD or HR workflows is HIGHLY preferred.
  • Experience in a global or complex HR environment; ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, HRSD) and Workday or HR tech experience are highly preferred.
  • Strong hands‑on experience configuring and developing in ServiceNow HRSD (cases, HR services, lifecycle events, knowledge, and dashboards).
  • Experience building and maintaining Employee Center Pro portals, including catalog items, topic taxonomy, and page configuration in UI Builder.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow development tools: Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, notifications, and data imports/transform maps.
  • Practical experience designing and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and Workday or other HR/enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub spokes.
  • Understanding of data models for HR (worker, position, job changes) and how they flow between systems to support lifecycle events and accurate case data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot integration failures, monitor data quality, and work with integration and security teams to resolve issues.
  • Experience working in an agile product team, collaborating with HR, IT, and business SMEs to refine user stories and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to design user‑centric portal experiences that prioritize clarity, speed to resolution, and intuitive navigation for employees and HR agents.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical options, constraints, and trade‑offs in business‑friendly language and to document designs and configurations clearly.
  • Experience with testing practices (unit testing, UAT support, and ideally Automated Test Framework) and change management processes in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with platform governance: development standards, reusability, security, and role‑based access controls in ServiceNow.
  • A continuous‑improvement mindset focused on optimizing HR processes, leveraging new platform features each release, and using feedback/analytics to guide enhancements.
