Responsibilities :

We are looking for a Serviceability engineer that will be responsible for defining the appropriate complete set of service parts (Field replaceable units), diagnostic and information development for each assigned product. The primary responsibility will be to lead the implementation of NPI and sustaining serviceability requirements for Lexmark and OEM products.

As a Serviceability Engineer, you will:

  • For New Products:
    • Create and manage the service parts list (FRUs and CRUs)  
    • Conduct Design for Serviceability review with development team.
    • Collaborate with the WW serviceability engineering team to ensure the proper Enovia supporting material connections.
    • Create service diagnostic specs new products
    • Conduct validation and verification of FRUs.
    • Provide technical and serviceability inputs to service information development.
    • Conduct review and validation to service information products.
  • For Sustaining Products:
  • Ensure service part related ECs account for the product requirements and communicate these changes to appropriate teams.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of service manual updates in collaboration with the Content Design team
  • Other Serviceability Tasks:
  • EC review and task tracking.
  • Conduct photo and video service removals shoot .
  • Enovia supporting materials setup and analysis.

You will be a great fit to our team if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering courses.
  • Strong technical background in product development process. Experience in hardware imaging design and development is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills both internal and cross functional teams.
  • High sense of accountability and a solid team player.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Have passion for innovation and driven towards operational excellence and continuous improvement.
