The primary role of an SEO Editor is to write and edit new content for the Gambling.com Group and implement SEO best practise to improve rankings and ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute content production for the Gambling.com Group in the Spanish language market.
  • On-page SEO optimizations such as creating content briefs, writing and editing content, keyword research, market and competitive research and monitoring.
  • Work between product, SEO, marketing, commercial and Content Teams to ensure tone of voice and brand standards are met.
  • Helping to source / manage and retain quality freelancers.
  • Edit and publish externally commissioned articles in a timely fashion to maximize commercial goals and align with company strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting on SEO and content progress to management.
  • Liaison with the technical SEO team in to ensure best practice.
  • Track impact of SEO Content initiatives including analysis and reporting.
  • Continually suggest new and exciting ways to engage and form relationships through development of content, freelancer management and internal practices and be part of communal voice for strategic planning and ideation with larger content and product teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in SEO, content planning or editorial role.
  • Fluent Spanish speaker.
  • Experience of HTML, Content CMS systems and Digital Publishing.
  • Experience conducting detailed competitor analysis and market entry research.
  • Experience working in an iGaming and Sporting Betting industry.
  • Knowledgeable of SEO techniques and best practices, including ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
  • Experience with common SEO tools i.e., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
  • A flawless writer and communicator with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Good English language skills - written and spoken.
  • Knowledgeable of conversion-oriented copywriting tactics, basic knowledge UX and UE.
  • Solid basic knowledge of Excel.
