Toast is growing internationally, and we’re looking for a Senior Customer Trainer to support our expanding customer base in the UK and Ireland (UKI). This is a unique opportunity to help establish and shape our customer training program during the early stages of international growth.
In this role, you’ll facilitate high-impact 1:many training sessions and work closely with the CX & Education team and the UKI International team to deliver exceptional, best-in-class learning experiences. As a trusted expert in Toast products, customer education, and the customer experience, you’ll also serve as a strategic partner—ensuring our training drives customer success and supports broader business objectives.
About this role:
- Deliver 1:many training sessions that support our expanding UKI customer base, consistently achieving or exceeding training goals and success metrics.
- Maintain deep expertise in Toast products and adult learning principles and techniques.
- Continuously identify and implement innovative ways to improve training delivery, content, and customer impact.
- Design, localize, update, and maintain training content, as needed.
- Actively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve training efficiency and output.
- Act as a cross-functional thought partner, collaborating across UKI International teams to support the enablement and success of our customers.
- Establish and expand the customer training program’s brand both internally and externally.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback and insights to cross-functional teams to help improve our international products, processes, services, and overall customer experience.
- Represent Toast at customer and industry events with professionalism, embodying our core values at all times.
Do you have the right ingredients?
- 5-7 years of training delivery experience. Learning design experience is also preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in the hospitality, point-of-sale (POS), or SaaS industry preferred.
- A willingness to develop deep expertise in Toast products and the customer experience.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and scaling new training programs from planning through execution.
- Proven experience in building and sustaining cross-functional partnerships that drive long-term customer success.
- Ability to effectively operate both strategically and tactically; navigating and adapting to ambiguity and making informed decisions in a fast-changing environment with limited oversight.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work on multiple high-priority projects at the same time.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, balancing short-term demands with long-term goals to maximize impact and efficiency.
- Highly motivated, passionate overachiever, and strong team player.
- Ability & willingness to travel occasionally in support of Toast or industry events. May result in traveling/working some nights and weekends to best support our customer needs.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).
