The Technical Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall
success of projects. The Technical writer will collaborate with talented software developers and technical staff
who work collaboratively with clients.

Main responsabilities

  • Work closely with the software development team to produce high-quality, clear, and concise technical documentation for both users and developers.
  • Take initiative to improve the developer experience by testing tools and services, investigating problems, and channeling feedback into high-quality, impactful documentation.
  • Accurately prioritize documentation, from the layout of content on a page to finding its accurate place in the entire documentation taxonomy, with search optimization in mind
  • Define standards and style guidelines that help other writers and engineers.
  • Plan and develop a wide range of information products for software, including guides, tutorials, Web-based help systems and specifications.
  • Research, write, proofread, edit and translate end-user manuals and online help.
  • Create screenshots and illustrations using graphic tools. Assist in the design of documentation templates and the development of group tools.
  • Work in an agile development environment and gather information for a writing assignment from a variety of sources, including development, QA, project, and product managers.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliverables.
  • Improve existing onboarding and education processes with documentation, helping engineers get quickly up to speed.
  • Use wireframe tools such as Adobe XD or Balsamiq.
  • Other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience writing user and developer-facing documentation and other forms of technical content.
  • Experience writing for web, software, hardware, or cloud technologies.
  • Experience producing Power Point Presentation for stakeholders.
  • Experience with Confluence and Lucid Charts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
