The Senior Technical SEO Strategist is responsible for developing and executing advanced SEO strategies to improve website performance, search visibility, and user experience. This role focuses on key technical SEO elements such as site structure, crawlability, indexing, page speed, structured data, and overall site health to enhance search engine rankings

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Technical SEO Optimization

  • Conduct website crawls using tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush to analyze SEO performance and identify technical issues.
  • Perform in-depth audits and implement fixes for:
  • Crawling & Indexing: XML/HTML sitemaps, robots.txt, meta-tags, canonicalization
  • Mobile SEO: Core Web Vitals research & implementation

  • Structured Data: Schema markup, Microdata & JSON-LD, Rich Snippets optimization
  • Status Codes & Redirects: 3xx, 4xx, 5xx response codes, redirect chains
  • Site Structure & URL Optimization: Internal linking, taxonomy, site architecture improvements
  • SEO Reporting & Analytics

  • Utilize website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio to track website performance.
  • Build and maintain automated SEO reports in Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on technical SEO improvements, keyword rankings, and organic search performance.
  • Collaboration & Implementation

  • Work closely with developers, content teams, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
  • Provide clear technical SEO recommendations and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Monitor and stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO with a strong track record of optimizing websites for organic search.
  • Expertise in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and technical elements affecting SEO.
  • Experience with log file analysis and server configurations as they relate to SEO.
  • Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and ability to implement optimizations.
  • Familiarity with structured data, schema markup, JSON-LD, and microdata.
  • Proficiency in analyzing crawl data, indexation issues, and website architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and marketing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
