Why this role exists

Ridgeline opened our Dublin office earlier this year and is now establishing the infrastructure to support our growing international presence across Europe and Canada. You will lead our transition from EOR-supported employment to direct employment through Ridgeline’s Ireland and Canada entities, partnering with Legal and Finance to build the required payroll, benefits, compliance, and equity infrastructure. Beyond this foundational work, you will serve as our on-the-ground People partner in Dublin, supporting managers and employees daily, shaping local office culture, and ensuring our global standards thrive in each market. This is a high-impact role for a resourceful generalist who thrives on turning ideas into action, solving complex problems, and helping us build one cohesive, global Ridgeline.

What success looks like

Within your first six months, every employee across our international markets will have a clear, well-communicated path into Ridgeline's direct employment model — and you'll have owned that transition from start to finish, building trust through clear, responsive communication across time zones.

What you'll do
  • Serve as a key strategic partner and seasoned executor, leading the initiative to stand up Ridgeline’s international arm. You will be responsible for defining and scaling our international strategy, successfully navigating the complexities of establishing our direct employment presence while building the foundation for long-term global growth.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end HR operations for our international team members — including benefits administration, payroll, compliance, leave management, and employee relations.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Finance, and our People team to build new programs from the ground up, balancing independent execution with the right check-ins on major decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to leaders, aligning people strategies with business goals.
  • Help shape team culture and manage the day-to-day needs of the Dublin office.
  • Build strong relationships with local vendors and benefits providers to stand up programs in new markets.
  • Collaborate across time zones, with flexibility to overlap with Ridgeline's US-based teams.
What we look for
  • Broad HR generalist experience at a senior level — comfortable across benefits, payroll, compliance, employee relations, and compensation.
  • Experience working at a US-based tech company or closely supporting US-based teams.
  • A resourceful, independent problem-solver who's comfortable building processes without an established playbook.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently across functions and time zones.
  • Comfort with HR systems and data — a growth mindset matters more than experience with any specific platform.
Bonus
  • Experience with Workday.
  • Familiarity with Canadian employment practices.
  • Experience helping transition employees from a third-party employment provider to direct hire.
