  • Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, responding to queries and helping resolve accounting and reporting issues effectively.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to junior team members, helping drive quality and consistency across the team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and deliver efficiencies across day-to-day activities.
  • Contribute to a more modern, scalable operating model through the use of AI-enabled, automated and digital solutions that enhance reporting, productivity and the overall client experience.
  • Support the review of GAAP and/or IFRS requirements and assess the impact of regulatory or accounting developments on fund accounting practices at BNY.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in fund accounting, client accounting, financial reporting or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Experience supporting complex funds, alternative investment structures or large institutional clients would be highly advantageous.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex issues in a controlled and timely way.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and interest in innovation, AI and digital transformation within financial services.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team environment.
