What you need
- Excitement by joining a growing, fast-paced & dynamic start-up solving a real-world problem
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related domains
- 4+ years of experience in a hands-on, commercial software engineering environment
- 3+ years experience with Java and/or Kotlin
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical experience
- Any of the main cloud platforms e.g. GCP, AWS
- Relational database systems e.g. PostGres, MSSQL
- RESTful web applications
- REST API frameworks e.g. Spring Web/MVC etc.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Application of software best practices and design patterns
It will be great if you also have some
- Experience in building cloud-based production grade big data pipelines and working with big data technologies.
- Experience in manipulating big data and drawing insights from massive data sets.
- Experience with GIS software/analysis tools as well as routing algorithms.
- Experience with performance optimisation and operability
- Experience working with transport industry data
