Job Description
Technical Requirements : Core JAVA, Multi-threading, Webservices, XML, AWT Swing, SQL • 6+ years’ experience designing and developing applications in Core Java • 2+ years’ experience with web services (SOAP / REST based) (client and server) • Experience with Apache web server internals/configuration • Strong leadership experience: leading meetings, presenting, technical team lead and go to person, and cross-functional leader • Excellent communication skills: demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences • Expertise in the software design/architecture process • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies • Expertise with unit/integration testing, and related modern best practices/technologies • Significant experience with service-orientated architectures, relational databases, middleware and caching • Experience with SQL query, and troubleshooting database related issues • Ability to mentor more junior members of the team as well as assist in building new teams with strong talent Additional skills : Experience with web front-end development, including MVC frameworks, CSS, Ajax, HTML, JavaScript • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation. Uses judgement to select evaluation criteria and identify innovative solutions • Requires interaction with broader range of stakeholders with client and business impact • Leads sophisticated root cause analysis • Impacts product customization or an aspect of the product roadmap (i.e., release management) • Communicates difficult or complex concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view • Anticipates potential customer objections and persuades others
