Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of Mastercard Payment Services' Bill Pay solutions and supporting applications. The role works closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, operations teams, and external partners to define, execute, and continuously improve quality assurance processes across the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Define, plan, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
Design, maintain, and enhance automated test suites and quality assurance frameworks.
Validate application changes and releases to ensure compliance with business, technical, regulatory, and security requirements.
Collaborate with development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Support agile delivery teams through participation in refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality engineering, test automation, release management, and operational excellence.
Perform root cause analysis of production incidents and assist in implementing preventive measures.
Ensure test documentation, test evidence, and quality controls are maintained in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
Support knowledge sharing and documentation of business processes, test processes, and system functionality.
Act as a subject matter expert for quality assurance activities within the Bill Pay domain.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in software quality assurance, testing, and quality engineering.
Knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies.
Experience with Agile delivery practices and DevOps principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Experience with payment, banking, financial services, or transaction processing systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
