Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members
- Lead end-to-end software engineering activities, including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and application support
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance software applications and AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
- Build and optimize data workflows and pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL to process large-scale datasets efficiently
- Research, evaluate, and deploy new tools, frameworks and patterns to build a sustainable Analytic platform
- Advance DevOps practices by contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring
- Create prototypes, proof-of-concepts & design and code reviews
- Collaborate with management, quality assurance, architecture, and other development teams
- Write technical documentation and participate in production support
Required Qualifications:
- Software development experience
- Development experience with Python, Java/Scala, JSON, Web Services
- Experience in relationship databases (SQL)
- Experience in distributed systems technologies like Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Snowflake
- Experience in developing applications on at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, security, and resiliency concepts
- Experience with building PySpark data pipelines in Databricks
- Hands-on or practical exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or orchestration platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare experience
