We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise and a passion for creating scalable, maintainable systems across languages and platforms. You’ll lead the development of robust REST API services, define backend patterns, and drive strategic integrations with ERP, CRM, and fintech platforms.
This role is for someone who can code in multiple languages, implement clean, secure system designs, and help shape the technical foundation of our platform. You'll work with product, design, and engineering teams to bring complex backend services to life.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop backend services using Java and other modern languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js)
- Define and implement design patterns, integration architectures, and service contracts
- Develop and manage integrations with fintech platforms like Mendel, including data synchronization, authentication, and transaction handling
- Build and secure RESTful APIs with TLS encryption and modern auth protocols (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
- Integrate seamlessly with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite)
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with clear documentation
- Participate in code reviews, mentor other engineers, and contribute to technical standards
- 7+ years of backend development experience, ideally with Java and at least one other language (e.g., Go, Python, JavaScript/Node.js)
- Strong experience designing and implementing API services and system integrations
- Familiarity with fintech platforms like Mendel, including integration flows, data mapping, and security protocols
- Deep understanding of ERP and CRM integration requirements
- Hands-on experience with secure API development using TLS, OAuth2, and enterprise-grade encryption methods
- Firm grasp of backend design principles, modularity, and maintainability
- Passion for solving complex problems and building systems that scale
- Previous experience in fintech or financial services
- Familiarity with AWS components (e.g., ECS, API Gateway, SQS, RDS, CloudWatch)
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of enterprise data pipelines, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- CI/CD tooling and DevOps best practices
- Be a key player in shaping our core backend systems
