The Financial Solutions Capital team builds features that give merchants access to fast, flexible financing for business growth and ensure seamless cash flow management. We develop the services that guarantee a reliable and delightful experience from the moment a shopper adds a product to their cart to the fulfilment moment when they receive their purchase. We believe that an excellent product doesn't stop at a great user experience; it needs to have a solid foundation of scalability, reliability and a robust developer experience.
This is a hybrid role working from our Dublin office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Team Manager for Financial Solutions Capital.
You'll Get To…
- Build: Create and enhance features that provide merchants with flexible financing options and cash flow management tools.
- Design: Shape the architecture and guiding principles of the Financial Solutions platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and an exceptional developer experience.
- Solve: Solve complex technical challenges in the Fintech space, driving innovative solutions for payment processing and financing.
- Collaborate: Partner with world-class Senior and Staff engineers to build the latest financial products.
- Mentor: Provide support to engineers, promoting growth, learning, and a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Engage: Collaborate across teams to translate technical complexities into actionable solutions, ensuring alignment with partners and stakeholders.
Who We're Looking For
- You have 6+ years of experience in the software industry, with a strong foundation in engineering best practices, API design, test automation, and architectural design. Experience in the fintech space (e.g., payments, trading, or gambling).
- You have experience mentoring engineers at different levels, helping them grow and succeed.
- You're experienced at conveying technical details to non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams.
- You prioritize delivering high-quality solutions that balance user experience, scalability, and performance.
- You excel in a team environment, working with engineers and cross-functional partners to achieve shared goals.
