Site Reliability Engineer will play a critical role in driving innovation and growth for the Banking Solutions, Payments and Capital Markets business.  In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the company's transformation journey, drive customer-centric innovation and automation, and position the organization as a leader in the competitive banking, payments and investment landscape. Specifically, the Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to measure and improve service reliability.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for safe and scalable deployments.
  • Lead incident response: triage, resolution, blameless postmortems, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to embed reliability into the software development lifecycle (“you build it, you run it” mindset).
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and ensure 24/7 support for critical systems.
  • Champion reliability culture and mentor teams on SRE principles and operational maturity.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).
  • Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance practices (RBAC, IAM, ISO/SOC standards).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on reliability, scalability, and customer impact.

What we offer you:

  • A work environment built on collaboration, flexibility and respect

  • Competitive salary and attractive range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and wellbeing

  •  Varied and challenging work to help you grow your technical skillset
