About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and versatile ServiceNow professional to join our small, growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of our ServiceNow platform, working closely with implementation partners to deliver capabilities and transform the platform into a scalable Enterprise Service Management solution. This is a unique opportunity in the early stages of significantly expanding our ServiceNow footprint across various business domains.
The role is based in the Dublin office with select travel to other RenRe offices.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows aligned with business requirements.
• Manage the operational integrity of the ServiceNow platform by managing upgrades, patch deployments, performance tuning, and security configurations, ensuring high availability and minimal impact to production environments.
• Work closely with Implementation Partners to roll-out ServiceNow solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and system updates.
• Contribute to the overall ServiceNow platform strategy, architecture, and development lifecycle.
Candidate Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, architecture, and data model. Experience in implementing ITSM, ITOM, HAM, ServiceNow Employee Centre and Now Assist on ServiceNow platform highly desired.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
• Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with 3rd party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and PowerShell scripts to enable data exchange and automation across systems. Must have a solid understanding of authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, and credential management to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Relevant ServiceNow Certifications such CSA, CAD, CTA, CMA is a plus
