The Team

The Forecasting Strategy & Planning (S&P) Team plays a critical role in predicting customer consumption and providing data-driven insights that drive strategic decision-making. We ensure our forecasting process is accurate, scalable, and actionable, helping the company anticipate revenue trends and optimize resource allocation.

We continuously refine and improve forecasting systems, ensuring they are easy for the field, precise for leadership, and aligned across teams. This involves gathering insights from business leaders, developing analytical frameworks, and enhancing forecasting models.

As part of this team, you'll collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to shape how we forecast, identify key trends, and improve our predictive capabilities.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support and enhance our forecasting processes. This role requires a combination of data analysis, business acumen, and process improvement to help us make informed, forward-looking decisions.

You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing forecasts from business leaders, identifying key patterns, and providing strategic insights. Additionally, you’ll work on improving existing forecasting tools and, where needed, help design new systems to ensure accuracy and scalability.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, passionate about translating data into actionable insights, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They should enjoy problem-solving, be comfortable working with large datasets, and have a strong ability to communicate findings effectively.

The Opportunity
  • Own the forecasting process—collect, analyze, and validate forecasts from leadership to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify trends and insights—spot patterns in customer consumption data, understand business drivers, and provide strategic recommendations
  • Write data-driven memos—translate complex findings into clear, concise reports that drive business value
  • Enhance forecasting systems—work on improving existing forecasting tools and explore opportunities to develop new models and methodologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders—partner with leadership, finance, and data teams to refine forecasting processes and align on key decisions
  • Improve processes at scale—document and optimize forecasting workflows to ensure efficiency and long-term scalability
What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus (eg. Economics, Statistics, Engineering)
  • 5+ years of work experience in either Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, Consulting
  • Comfortable using SQL to extract data for business analyses
  • Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Effective communicator who can tell stories with the data
  • Experience with Tableau and CRM Analytics
Top-Down Forecast Workstream
  • Automate and maintain a central Forecasting Hub
  • Consolidate forecasts from MDB leaders globally into a centralized file
  • Build and maintain models to support and challenge leader-submitted forecasts
  • Write a weekly forecast memo for the GTM meeting hosted by the CRO
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities in the forecast
Bottom-Up Forecast Workstream
  • Redesign existing forecasting tools used by the field
  • Develop new tools as needed, in collaboration with Analytics and Systems teams
  • Plan and run feedback sessions to test new tools
  • Collect and incorporate feedback into iterations
  • Roll out new forecasting tools/processes globally
  • Lead enablement sessions across regions
Technical Skills Required
  • Google Sheets (Advanced)
  • SQL (Advanced)
  • CRMA / Tableau / Data visualization (Intermediate)
  • Experience with forecasting models (preferred)
  • Experience with query automation (preferred)
