About Okta

Okta is The World's Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth. We are proud to be the leader in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) industry, with a rapidly growing global footprint.

Our Global Field Onboarding program is a holistic experience that includes a self-guided Onboarding Learning Journey, live virtual instructor led training, an immersive in-person Onboarding Assembly event, and an Onboarding Certification. While the program currently supports a global audience, there is a need for regional nuance, in-person training in the region, engaging our leaders of new hires, as well as localization of content. This role will help us accomplish a tailored experience based on region.

The Senior Manager, Field Onboarding EMEA, will spearhead localizing our onboarding program to the EMEA audience, building on our curriculum that supports both the Okta and Auth0 business, while also continuing to support our broader world-class onboarding experiences. This role is key to scaling our onboarding strategy and ensuring every new hire is ready to drive success in the field, with regional nuance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Scalable Cohort-Based Experiences: Coordinate, and execute onboarding strategies tailored for our EMEA GTM audience, ensuring alignment across global regions and functions.
  • Drive Onboarding Certifications: Coordinate, and ensure Onboarding Certifications are conducted, scored, and new hires are provided coaching to continue improving in tandem with leadership.
  • Elevate In-Person Onboarding Events: Deliver local onboarding interventions in-person and virtually, serving as a core touchpoint for new hire success.
  • Tight Feedback Loops with EMEA Leadership: Meet with EMEA leaders consistently to pull strategic initiatives into onboarding efforts, as well as assist with any change management needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Leverage deep product knowledge to deliver curriculum, and make suggestions on enhancements that empower new hires to sell effectively in a complex, technical environment.
  • Foster Cohesion: Create a consistent, cohesive onboarding experience that reflects global programming across roles, regions, and business units, collaborating closely with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Measure & Optimize: Monitor and report onboarding effectiveness with tight feedback loops, iterating to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Hold Leaders of New Hires Accountable: Promote and support leader engagement in new hire learnings and experience via structured process.
  • Relentless Pursuit of Driving Customer Success: Put the “customer” (the new field hires) at the forefront of everything you do. Optimize for the best learning experience possible.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in enablement OR SaaS Identity/Security Sales Experience, onboarding, or a related field, preferably in a global security software company.
  • Product Knowledge Pro: Deep understanding of (or ability to learn quickly) complex technical products, with a knack for simplifying concepts into actionable learning.
Field Enablement or Sales Experience: Experience creating and scaling onboarding or enablement programs in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments, with practical sales experience preferred. OR experience in a quota-carrying sales role with exposure to large enablement programs.
  • Resourceful Self-Starter: Unencumbered by ambiguity, sees roadblocks as opportunities, finds information and solutions when not obvious.
  • Operational Guru: Proven ability to manage large-scale programs with precision, from logistics to execution, while juggling competing priorities.
  • Exceptional Facilitator: Comfortable commanding a room (virtual or in-person), with a facilitation style that engages, inspires, and drives behavior change.
  • Collaborative Partner: Skilled at building trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration to achieve common goals.
  • Continuous Improver: Data-driven and outcome-oriented, constantly seeking ways to enhance onboarding effectiveness and speed up productivity.
