Role Overview
We’re seeking a high-performing, well-connected Business Developer to accelerate our growth through strategic partnerships within the gaming, sports, entertainment, and agency ecosystems. Your mission will be to source, initiate, and close partnership opportunities with brands, teams, marketing agencies, creators, and other relevant stakeholders.
This role reports directly to the Chief Business Officer and is ideally suited for professionals with strong networks, commercial acumen, and a passion for emerging fan engagement technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and close high-value partnerships across gaming, sports, and entertainment.
- Leverage your existing network to open doors with teams, brands, agencies, creators, and other key partners.
- Design and pitch tailored partnership proposals aligned with XBorg’s product vision and strategic objectives.
- Work closely with the CBO and cross-functional stakeholders to refine partnership targets and go-to-market strategy.
- Represent XBorg at industry events, conferences, and key meetings with high-potential prospects.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in business development or partnership roles, preferably in gaming, entertainment, or sports sectors.
- Established Network: Active relationships with teams, publishers, agencies, and brands across gaming, sports, and entertainment industries.
- Deal Experience: Proven success in closing commercial partnerships or sponsorship deals.
- Effective Communicator: Confident and persuasive with senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Web3, fan engagement, or digital collectible platforms.
- Familiarity with Figma to build visually compelling partnership decks and proposals.
