Senior Research Analyst

Job Description Summary

Our office in Dublin is recruiting for a Senior Research Analyst to join the Irish Research & Insights team. The ideal candidate for this exciting role will have have a keen interest in economics and an ability to apply this to analysing the Irish commercial real estate market. However, we welcome applications from candidates from other sectors where there is a strong research element to their role. They will be detail orientated, a strong teamplayer, inquisitive by nature and good communicators, both written and verbally.

Job Description

Responsibilities:


•Keep abreast with latest economic statistics and publications to support the delivery of a well-rounded forward looking House View and multi-sector research agenda

•Work closely with other departments to collect, maintain and analyse internal property market databases

•Write quarterly/bi-annual research reports for a range of assigned market sectors

•Work closely with internal teams and other stakeholders on research reports, pitch documents, presentations and information requests

•Support and assist the Chief Economist, Head of Research & Insights in a range of areas including delivering our multi-sector research agenda, ad-hoc queries, bespoke reports and presentations

Skills and Experience:


• Ideally a relevant qualification in economics, business, finance or statistics
• 2-3 years’ experience, preferably in commercial real estate or investment/capital market research/consulting/economics

• Knowledge of or interest in the Irish or European property markets
• Self-motivated individual who can work well both on their own and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with data
• Excellent attention to detail and eagerness to enhance research, data quality and data presentation
• Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and ideally comfortable working with data analytics tools such as PowerBI

• Strong report writing, presentation, analytical and communication skills
• Adaptable, well organised and intellectually curious
• Proven ability to work towards deadlines
