We're looking for an experienced Senior QA Lead to join a high-impact digital team supporting large-scale mobile and web platforms in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. This is a critical leadership role where you'll take ownership of the QA strategy, unify teams, and elevate QA maturity across the organisation.
This is a hybrid role, with presence required at our customer site in Dublin at least once per week.
What you'll do:
- Define and lead scalable QA strategy balancing manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms
- Mentor and manage a team of QA engineers (onshore and offshore), with responsibility for performance and delivery outcomes
- Champion a quality-first mindset, ensuring collaboration between QA, DevOps, Product and Engineering teams
- Drive the shift-left testing approach by integrating automation early in the development lifecycle
- Lead the QA function across multiple product teams within a major operations-focused development stream
- Establish and track QA metrics - test coverage, regression readiness, and test health to guide continuous improvement
- Align disconnected teams by introducing shared standards, tooling, and best practices
What you bring:
- 3+ years experience in a QA leadership role, with ideally 8+ years of overall QA experience
- Strong background in both manual and automated testing (e.g. Playwright, Selenium)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with test planning, defects analysis, and metrics-led improvement
- Experience using JIRA and Zephyr (or similar)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience leading geographically distributed QA teams
- Experience leveraging AI to improve QA processes and engineer productivity
- Experience with performance, accessibility, and security testing approaches
- Understanding of regulated environments
