Senior QA Engineer – FFIO Investment Information Services

The Role

The Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Investment Information Services (IIS) team based in Dublin. As a key member of our global Agile team, you will play a critical role in embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies across product releases, including system integration, user acceptance, and functional testing. Your responsibilities will span test planning, execution, and automation, with a focus on GUI testing, risk analysis, test estimation, feature sizing, and ensuring robust test coverage. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 6+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering.
• Financial services experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience with using Java or Java Script and experience with Java based testing frameworks.
• Experience with RDBMS, RESTAPI and related tools such as SQL and Postman,
• Experience as an automation engineer/software engineer working across a diverse range of applications at multiple layers of the technology stack
• Experience with Cucumber, Gherkin, Cypress or Selenium
• Extensive experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations, test reporting and signoff.
• Extensive experience with Jenkins CI/CD, job creation and maintenance
• Jira and Xray a plus.
• Experience in mentoring junior associates.
• Salesforce knowledge/experience is preferred but not required.

The Team

FFIO technology teams craft and maintain technology solutions and products that enable FFIO to provide accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and fund shareholders. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields for a wide variety of investment products; preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates and tax returns; monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks; processing corporate actions; collecting securities income on behalf of the funds; reconciling, reporting and moving money in support of fund shareholder transactions; and managing fund liquidity.
