CEL Critical Power is scaling rapidly, delivering cutting-edge power distribution solutions to the world’s largest data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, and industrial operations.
We are seeking a highly driven and proactive Project Manager to take charge of the entire project lifecycle for all site operations, ensuring thorough planning and successful execution of projects delivered on time and within budget for CEL.
As an adept project manager, you should excel in fostering relationships, effectively communicating with key stakeholders to manage timelines and deadlines, and contributing to the development of ongoing business through demonstrated performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume complete ownership of designated site service projects, overseeing everything from planning (bid/no-bid) to execution and closeout, while ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with agreed quality standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, cultivating strong relationships, managing expectations, and ensuring open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project teams comprised of CEL and contract field engineers, collaborating with the site services technical lead to provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a safe, effective working environment onsite.
- Monitor project financial performance, tracking budgets and margins, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Handle project changes and variations, evaluating their impact on costs, schedules, and resources, while negotiating solutions with clients as necessary.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Site Services Technical Lead, Engineering, QA, Production, and Finance, to facilitate smooth transitions, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain alignment on project goals.
- Monitor and report on project progress using established KPIs, identifying risks early and proactively driving preventative or corrective actions.
- Act as the representative of CEL in client meetings, audits, and project reviews across Ireland and Europe.
Requirements
- Possessing a degree or trade education alongside 3 to 5 years of experience in senior project management.
- Must demonstrate financial literacy with the capability to analyze financial performance effectively.
- Exhibited strong organizational and communication skills within the electrical and data center sectors.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a talent for identifying and resolving problems.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
- Willing and able to travel regionally.
- Capable of working independently, highly self-motivated, and proficient in time management.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using or eager to learn SAP.
