ABOUT THE POSITION

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with advanced Jira expertise to join our ambitious project and work alongside our team of Producers.

This is not a traditional games production role. Instead, you'll become the team's Jira specialist, helping us improve planning, reporting, visibility and delivery insights across a large software development project.

Our project requires comprehensive tracking and reporting, so we're looking for someone who can elevate our Jira practices, build meaningful dashboards, create insightful reports, and help our Producers make better data-driven decisions.

You'll work closely with Producers, discipline leads and client stakeholders to ensure project data is accurate, actionable and easy to understand.

Responsibilities
  • Become the Jira subject matter expert.

  • Design, configure and maintain Jira boards, workflows, filters and project structures.

  • Create executive dashboards that clearly communicate project health, delivery progress and risks.

  • Build custom reports that provide meaningful insights into velocity, throughput, forecasting, dependencies, blockers and delivery trends.

  • Support Producers with sprint planning, backlog organisation and Jira best practices.

  • Ensure Jira data remains accurate, consistent and reliable across multiple teams.

  • Work with technical and production teams to improve reporting quality and project transparency.

  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and reduce manual administration.

  • Help establish standards for Jira usage across the project.

  • Coach Producers and team members in effective Jira usage.

  • Support client reporting requirements with high-quality project metrics and visualisations.

  • Analyse delivery data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications
  • Expert-level knowledge of Atlassian Jira.

  • Proven experience administering or configuring Jira for complex software development projects.

  • Strong understanding of Agile software development practices.

  • Experience building sophisticated dashboards, filters and custom reporting.

  • Excellent understanding of Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Ability to interpret project data and present meaningful insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with Jira Automation.

  • Experience with Advanced Roadmaps.

  • Experience integrating Jira with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio.

  • Knowledge of Confluence administration.

  • Experience working with distributed or multi-site development teams.

  • Experience supporting client-facing delivery teams.

  • Previous experience within software development or technology companies.

  • Experience in the games industry is welcome but not required.
