Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to join the Developer Platform team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
The Developer Platform team is responsible for Delivery Hero's internal developer platform. It  creates solutions that empower our internal software development community to efficiently manage their applications from inception to deployment and beyond.

This role demands a strong technical background, understanding of SRE and platform engineering concepts, and the ability to deal with a high level of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) products, including those for observability, large-scale distributed system testing, and incident management/response.

  • Identify potential new products to help address risks to availability, performance, correctness, data restorability or machine learning workloads.

  • Collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to understand pain points, identify opportunities for improvements in the platform, and prioritize them.

  • Engage in highly technical discussions about SRE, platform engineering, infrastructure, and developer tools. Make informed decisions related to these topics and provide valuable insights to your team.

  • Utilize data analysis, user feedback, and research to make data-driven product decisions. Defining the right KPIs, figuring out how to measure them, and using them to guide the efforts of your team is a big part of the job.

  • Drive cross-functional, cross-team collaboration. Manage conflicting priorities, and disentangle chains of dependencies across a large organization.

  • Use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to keep stakeholders informed about your plans, decisions, and product updates.

  • Summarize and report on the performance of the Site Reliability Engineering customer experience to engineering and product development to product leadership. Use their feedback to adjust as needed. 

Qualifications

  • You have 6+ years' experience in software product management.

  • You have a strong technical background and are familiar with the agile software development lifecycle.

  • You have a good understanding of business KPIs, and how to translate strategy into action using OKR. 

  • You are good at managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication in order to get others on board with your ideas.

Nice to have:

  • Software Engineering background.

  • Previous experience working with SRE or platform engineering products.
