The Experience Universe at Mangopay is responsible for designing and delivering human-centered experiences across all our products and touchpoints.
Our core areas of responsibility are the client portal and back office, the docs site, our marketing websites, landing pages and communications design. We also collaborate closely with the other Product Universes, along with RevOps, Internal Systems, and Product Marketing.
We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Product Designer with strong visual skills, passionate about UX and beautiful UI to join us as a dedicated Product Designer for the Experience Universe and help us on our mission to deliver best-in-class experiences.
What will you be responsible for?
- Elevating Product Quality: Lead the design of user-centric product interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing. You define what a ‘good’ experience looks like and collaborate with the team to deliver it.
- User Research: Conduct and analyze user research to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
- Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance our products.
- Product Experience: As part of the dedicated team, you will own the product experience in collaboration with the Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, and Engineering, collaborating with them throughout the product lifecycle from discovery through to launch and iteration.
A bit about you
As a Senior Product Designer in the Experience Universe, you will be obsessed with human-centered design and slick UI. We’re looking for a passionate team player with:
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, and working with/building Design Systems. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus.
- User Research: Strong ability to conduct and analyze user research, turning insights into actionable design improvements.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, and proficiency in a second European language is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
