tl;dr: we’re looking for a pragmatic Senior Product Analyst to help us shape the direction of our enterprise-grade video creation platform — whether that’s driving experimentation and growth or shaping the next generation of product features.
Welcome to the video first worldFrom your everyday PowerPoint presentations to Hollywood movies, AI will transform the way we create and consume content. Today, people want to watch and listen, not read — both at home and at work.
Despite the clear preference for video, communication and knowledge sharing in the business environment are still dominated by text, largely because high-quality video production remains complex and challenging to scale—until now….
Meet SynthesiaWe're on a mission to make video easy for everyone. Born in an AI lab, our AI video communications platform simplifies the entire video production process, making it easy for everyone, regardless of skill level, to create, collaborate, and share high-quality videos. Whether it's for delivering essential training to employees and customers or marketing products and services, Synthesia enables large organizations to communicate and share knowledge through video quickly and efficiently. We’re trusted by leading brands such as Heineken, Zoom, Xerox, McDonald’s and more. Read stories from happy customers and what 1,200+ people say on G2.
In February 2024, G2 named us as the fastest growing company in the world. Today, we're at a $2.1bn valuation and we recently raised our Series D. This brings our total funding to over $330M from top-tier investors, including Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, Google and top founders and operators including Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook.
Today we’re hiring a Senior Product Analyst to support our Product organization. We’re looking for someone to own and develop the analytics framework we use to understand user behavior & explore our data and shape new product opportunities from data insights. You’ll work on our core capabilities, leveraging your expertise to help us validate qualitative insights and shape the products direction alongside a Product Management counterpart.
- Own the analytics framework for one of our product areas — defining the tracking, metrics, and measurement plans that deepen our understanding of user behaviour.
- Define and implement success metrics and ensure every initiative has a clear measurement of impact.
- Design and analyse A/B and multivariate tests, running experiments that shape our roadmap and unlock new opportunities for activation, engagement, or monetisation.
- Proactively explore our customer behaviour and usage data to identify drop-offs, untapped segments, pricing gaps, and other levers for growth or product improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Engineers to shape data models and make data accessible and decision-ready.
- Build models and frameworks - from LTV estimation and segmentation to growth loops or adoption metrics that help size opportunities and prioritise effectively.
- Communicate insights clearly, influencing product and company strategy through compelling data-informed storytelling.
- Champion a culture of data driven and evidence-based decision-making, sharing learnings widely and helping the team move fast and smart.
- Experience in product or growth analytics, working on digital products where your insights influenced roadmap decisions and driven clear business impact.
- Strong analytical and statistical grounding, able to move confidently from hypothesis to experiment to inference.
- Fluency in SQL (CTEs, window functions, performance optimisation) and familiarity with DBT or equivalent transformation tools.
- Excellent communication and data-storytelling skills — you make complex analyses clear, actionable, and compelling.
- A pragmatic mindset — you know when data is “good enough” to make a decision and when deeper analysis is needed.
- A business-oriented approach, anticipating the questions that will matter for growth, product strategy, and company impact.
- Bonus: experience with experimentation or feature-flag platforms (e.g. LaunchDarkly, Optimizely), or with forecasting, LTV, or causal inference models.
- Be customer first
- Own it and go direct
- Be fast & experimental
- Make the journey fun
