About The Role
The Data Quality and Governance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the continued evolution of Investments data governance and quality capabilities.  As data platforms, reporting needs, and downstream data consumption continues to grow, this will help ensure the data standards, controls, and documentation are applied consistently and proactively.  The analyst will work closely with the wider data team and cross-functional partners to support data quality monitoring, issue resolution, and governance processes across the Investments data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of data governance and data quality processes across Investments
  • Assist with documenting data elements, business definitions, ownership, and lineage
  • Help operate and monitor data quality controls, including tracking issues and supporting remediation efforts
  • Partner with Investments, Finance, Technology and reporting teams to analyze data issues and coordinate follow-up action
  • Support ongoing data clean-up initiatives as platforms, data sources, and usage evolve
  • Contribute to governance artifacts and materials used for transparency, reporting, and audit support
  • Provide analytics and organizational support for new data initiatives, reporting requirements, and platform enhancements

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience working with data in Investments, financial services or asset management environment, with exposure to data quality, data governance, reporting or data-related processes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interest in data quality, governance, and controls
  • Curious and proactive mindset, with a desire to understand how data flows across systems and reports
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Comfortable learning new systems, data structures, and business concepts
  • Requires a broad understanding and ability to work on problem identification, detailed analysis, evaluation and resolution. 
  • Able to balance structure and flexibility in a fast-evolving data environment
  • Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, providing support, assistance and advice in a constructive and professional manner.
  • Strong interest in organizational performance, management information, process improvement and change management.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Dublin, Ireland office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
