What We Need

We are looking for a sharp and principled Senior Policy Manager to help define and evolve our player safety, compliance and platform integrity standards. You’ll be the architect of our community and conduct policies—ensuring they are fair, enforceable, and designed to foster safe, inclusive, compliant, and vibrant player experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Policy Development: You'll be responsible for optimising our Compliance, Data Governance, Player Conduct, and Anti-Abuse policies, ensuring they're clear, comprehensive, and effectively addresses current and future challenges in online gaming communities. You’ll ensure that our policies align 2K’s values with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as with player and community expectations. 
  • Enforcement Process & Guidelines: You'll create robust and scalable internal guidelines for policy enforcement, standardizing our approach to moderation and ensuring fair and consistent application across all 2K titles.
  • Infrastructure Advisory: You'll serve as a critical advisor to Product teams, providing expert insights on tooling, workflows, rules engines, case management enforcement telemetry, and technology to build a highly effective and efficient moderation system.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll work closely with legal, product, engineering, and community teams to embed Trust & Safety best practices throughout the organization and ensure a cohesive approach to player protection.

The Right Candidate Would have 

  • 5-7 years of policy development experience, preferably in the gaming industry, or other online Trust & Safety environments, with an emphasis on principle-based, user-centric approaches.
  • Policy and Guidelines Expertise: Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and iterating on community guidelines, and internal policy enforcement frameworks. 
  • Exceptional Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills—with the ability to simplify complexity and articulate ethical, legal, and commercial tradeoffs. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to analyze complex issues, anticipate future challenges, and develop user-friendly, proactive, scalable solutions.
  • Influencing Skills: Excels in diplomacy, empathy, influencing and trust building, and has experience with building consensus across cross-functional groups and stakeholders. 
  • Business Acumen and a Long Term Viewpoint: Your extensive experience and subject matter expertise, means that you design with customers, stakeholders, scale and commercial longevity in mind.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: A strong understanding of abuse vectors and compliance frameworks that relate to the topics of privacy, data governance, child safety, online harms, and consumer protection.
  • Infrastructure & Tooling Knowledge: Familiarity with content moderation tools, platforms, and workflows and in designing optimal processes and procedures in service of policy goals. 
  • Independent and Proactive: A self-starter who can work autonomously and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous, or “0-to-1” build environments
  • Significant experience in online Trust & Safety, content moderation, or a related field, preferably within the gaming or tech industry
  • Familiarity with online harm taxonomies, behavioral design, and global regulatory environments.
  • A passion for 2K, our games, and our player communities
  • A passion for player-first experiences and creating respectful, inclusive digital space
