Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Functional Support Consultant

Are you an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Financials specialist looking to take your career to the next level?

At Version 1, we’re growing our Enterprise Applications Practice and are now hiring a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Functional Support Consultant to join our high-performing Managed Services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple industries, deliver meaningful solutions for enterprise clients, and continually develop your Oracle expertise through accreditations, certifications, and ongoing professional training supported by Version 1.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite Financials solutions for a wide range of clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day functional support across Oracle Financials modules.
  • Using your in-depth knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Sub Ledger Accounting, E-Business Tax and Reporting to deliver excellent service and innovation.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues, delivering fixes, and recommending process improvements.
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Partnering with technical teams to deliver well-designed, high-quality solutions.
  • Liaising directly with clients to ensure change requests are assessed, prioritised, and managed through to completion.
  • Supporting clients during transitions from implementations or competitor services into Version 1 Managed Services.
  • Identifying recurring issues and driving root cause resolution.
  • Creating and executing test plans and coordinating testing with key stakeholders.
  • Providing end-user training and contributing to process optimisation initiatives.

 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financials and a passion for delivering value through expert application support.

Essential:

  • Proven experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Consultant or Support Analyst.
  • Strong experience in one or more Financials modules:
    • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, iExpenses, Subledger Accounting, E-Business Tax, iProcurement.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite implementations or upgrades.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and defect tracking systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience with additional modules: Purchasing, iSupplier Portal, Projects.
  • Background in Managed Services or client support environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
