About the role:
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our Galway-based R&D team. As part of a cross-functional Scrum team, you will contribute to building new features and solutions end-to-end, from UI to backend to deployment. You’ll work collaboratively across product, UX, and engineering to deliver high-performing, scalable applications that power our SaaS offerings.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with your team to define, design, and implement innovative software solutions
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality application code in both frontend and backend components
- Participate in planning and estimation sessions; contribute to solution architecture discussions
- Follow best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Continuously improve code quality, reliability, and team delivery processes
- Work across the stack: UI, APIs, services, data storage, and cloud infrastructure
- Engage in technical reviews, retrospectives, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Contribute to personal and team growth through experimentation and research
What you bring:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack role
- Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies:
- Languages/Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework / EF Core
- Frontend: Blazor (Radzen or similar), JavaScript (Vue, React, or jQuery), HTML5, CSS3
- Web Services: RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases: SQL Server, Azure SQL
- Experience with Azure cloud services (or AWS/GCP equivalent)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience in contributing to end-to-end product lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Azure Pipelines, Azure Git, Visual Studio, VS Code
- Experience working on cloud-native SaaS applications
- Experience working with security-sensitive data or regulatory environments (PCI, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform a plus
- Exposure to modern analytics and AI/ML integrations is a bonus
- Strong analytical skills and a drive for continuous improvement
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
