Job Description

Role: Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Dublin
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to take ownership of our customer acquisition strategy in the Republic of Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our marketing approach, ensuring Gousto scales rapidly to become Ireland’s most loved way to eat dinner.

Reporting to the Head of Acquisition, you will own channel investment plans, oversee our marketing calendar, and collaborate closely with teams across brand, PR, insights, trading, and technology. You will also drive acquisition performance and forecasting, ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making.

As part of this role, you’ll be expected to travel to London approximately once per month for a couple of days at a time.

Core Competencies: 

  • Defining and delivering the marketing strategy for ROI to drive new customer growth
  • Owning the ROI acquisition forecast, ensuring clear reporting and performance tracking across sign-ups, CPA, and customer lifetime value
  • Leading go-to-market planning and execution, ensuring seamless collaboration between insights, brand, PR, acquisition, and tech teams
  • Managing channel investment plans to optimise marketing spend and drive sustainable growth
  • Executing tests into new acquisition channels, identifying high-performing opportunities
  • Championing the needs and preferences of Irish consumers, leveraging insights and competitor research to refine our proposition
  • Partnering with central marketing and brand teams to align on acquisition efforts and brand positioning
  • Driving collaboration with the ROI trading team to ensure synergy between marketing and commercial performance
  • Working closely with tech teams to enable marketing performance through testing plans, technical enhancements, and site optimisation
  • Sharing best practices and learnings across teams to continuously improve marketing effectiveness

Who You Are: 

  • Experience in a leadership role in a rapidly scaling business or new market launch
  • A strong background in direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing, preferably in eCommerce
  • Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies
  • A deep understanding of the Irish market and consumer behaviour
  • Experience managing marketing budgets of £1m+
  • A data-driven mindset, with expertise in acquisition forecasting and performance analysis
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams
  • A strategic, results-oriented approach with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
