What this job can offer you

  • This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Manager of GTM Finance on the Strategic Finance team.
  • We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, and engaged Senior Manager to join our Strategic Finance team. In this role, you will be a key partner to the Sales & Growth teams (Marketing, Partnerships) by providing analyses, reporting, and strategic insights for customer acquisition, revenue growth and other marketing and growth initiatives. You should have the ability to lead cross-functional projects, communicate effectively and efficiently, and be excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You are a highly quantitative individual with ideally some experience in consulting or startups.
  • In this role, you will play a key role in GTM strategy decisions including C and VP level discussions. You will be responsible for planning and analytics relating to Go to Market, and work with RevOps and the executive team on the Annual planning process for Sales and Marketing. You will independently run a team of GTM finance professionals on autonomous projects that include sales efficiency analysis, marketing spend analysis, sales insights and other projects with Executive level impact. You will be responsible for GTM inputs to Remote’s financial model, and have major impact on the creation of investor and board materials related to our GTM function. You should have the ability to lead large and complex cross-functional projects, communicate effectively and efficiently, and be excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What you bring

  • Strong and relevant experience - investment banking, private equity, consulting, high-growth start-up, or public tech company.
  • Leadership and management skills demonstrated by successful management of a diverse team of GTM finance professionals
  • Expert understanding of GTM dynamics including pricing, discounting, sales incentives and annual planning cycles.
  • Expert understanding of sales metrics and marketing metrics
  • A proven ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization.
  • A self-starter mentality and the ability to thrive in an unstructured and fast-paced environment.
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Be a strategic business partner to the Sales & Growth teams to provide insight, analysis, and support on acquisition channels and costs, revenue planning processes, partnerships, and any ad hoc requests
  • Work with the GTM team holistically to support end to end funnel analytics
  • Work with business partners to define key metrics and develop reporting dashboards
  • Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and KPI reporting for the entire org
  • Develop analyses across segments to understand trends and identify areas of opportunity and risk
  • Lead a team of expert GTM and pricing analysts and managers effectively

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $101,750 to $152,650. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
