Analog Devices continues to grow the software, systems and solutions capabilities to support customer projects on scale.  The Developer Relations Role is a key role to drive go-to-market awareness, increase product attach and drive deep and lasting engagement with ADI as a company.  The successful candidate will have experience with software developer relations in the embedded market, growing global communities, leveraging digital reach and having an intuitive understanding of the market trajectory.  The developer relations role will work closely with the technology and marketing teams to make it easy to use ADI solutions and products in the markets we serve.  This is a role requiring collaboration, organizational influence and market understanding to drive measurable outcomes.  Our top performing team of professionals thrives on collaboration, success, and mentoring new talent.

Role & Responsibility

  • A successful candidate will have operated market leading developer relations programs in same or similar markets.
  • A management role, this function will build a team of global developer relations staff and lead by influence in the larger ADI organization. 
  • This opportunity is focused on the early-stage progression of a developer relations program – with the ability to market innovative technology platforms, using professional digital assets and outreach and accessing a large customer base, a successful candidate will shape the long-term strategy and vision.
  • This role is designed as a customer and factory facing role.  ADI has many digital platforms, significant technology and innovation and many marketing outlets.  The candidate will be at the crossroads of the software, systems and solutions development organization, use the digital, events and other marketing reach of ADI as well as drive the developer.analog.com property in collaboration with analog.com, ez.analog.com and  GitHub among other digital outreach platforms.
  • This role bridges the technical and marketing divide – successful candidates will have knowledge of the embedded market and intellectual curiosity of the market, customers and partner capabilities.  The candidate will be comfortable measuring the attributes and impact of their work and make data-oriented adjustments to the strategy, messaging and programs.
  • Capable in all facets of developer relations
    • Digital and “low-touch, no-touch” engagement with developers to reduce the time from developers take from initial idea to production release
    • On-the-ground developer programs and events to create community and lasting association with ADI
    • Marketing programs and metrics for developer awareness and engagement
    • Communicating with marketing leaders across the embedded market and the vertical markets in which ADI is established
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Focus on driving software engineers from unboxing to “hello world” as quickly as possible
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong drive to compete and win
  • Ability to take initiative and drive results
  • Ability to build lasting, influential relationships, internal & external

Requirements

  • Location: Ireland
  • Experienced Developer Relations Background, with a focus on driving to scale
  • Use and change ADI standard processes for software, systems and services.  
  • Strong English communication & collaboration skills
  • Proven engagement customers, partners and internal teams
  • BS EE, CE or CS – technical background preferred.
  • Travel required: Yes
