Job Description

What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented person to join our Corporate Tax Department in Dublin which is responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of business clients. We are looking for a Senior Manager in this team.

You will be joining a fantastic work environment with a good team atmosphere and work/life balance. As a Tax Senior Manager your responsibilities will include among others

  • Dealing and mentoring a portfolio of clients and mentoring more junior members of staff as necessary.
  • Providing assistance to Directors/Partners in both client work and in the mentorship of the group.
  • Undertake corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory work for your portfolio and give notable client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client teams.
  • Ensuring company procedures are followed taking account of institute and Irish Revenue guidance, where relevant as well as ensuring department KPi's are met around billing and recovery targets

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have 

  • Significant corporate tax experience gained within a practice environment
  • Be a technically capable tax adviser who is up to take with current legislation and ability to assist in highly detailed client work
  • Display experience of mentoring people and clients
  • Ability to develop business development skills to assist with the growth of the business

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA)
