The role is accountable to implement a site Business Resilience program that is designed to protect our colleagues, business partners, property, assets, products and information. The role will implement and manage the site Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), crisis management, security, business continuity and Information Protection programs. The role purposely networks within its GWE region to drive implementation of business resilience programs and best practice opportunities to achieve strategic and operational goals.
The role will implement and coordinate security operations, EHS, business continuity and crisis management preparedness within GWE supported sites within Greece. The holistic protection of our people, critical assets & processes, risk & threat mitigation, and crisis management preparedness are included within the scope of this role. The role will support both the site Business Continuity Plan and Information Protection Plan supporting key stakeholders and critical business operations. The role includes the Site Security Officer (SSO) designation and associated role responsibilities, as well as being the EHS coordinator.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement risk management programs and strategies to protect people, physical property, intellectual property and company reputation.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with internal business units to foster cooperation with implementation of risk management policies and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and Pfizer internal Corporate standards. Including Global Security's Standards: Minimum Security Requirements (MSR) and STAR (Security Technical Application Requirements); and EHS and Business Resilience Standards.
  • Develop and manage the operational budget, both expense and capital, to ensure full compliance with stated departmental fiscal goals and Corporate standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Security's site physical risk mitigation assessment program.
  • Ensure an effective crisis management (CM) program, CM plan preparedness to include team exercises. Coordinate with Crisis Management Leader and Coordinator.
  • Ensure an effective site Information Protection Program via awareness materials, presentations and audits.
  • Ensure an effective Business Continuity Program. Coordinate with internal business units to confirm group business continuity plans integration.
  • Ensure an effective site EHS program. Manage Corporate standards implementation. Provide guidance on fire safety and emergency response arrangements.
  • Provide risk management support to all remote sites as assigned.
  • Action contract management including evaluation of performance metrics against stated goals.
  • Leverage outsourced providers and technology to ensure delivery of outstanding yet financially balanced services.
  • Develop and maintain sound liaison with local and federal law enforcement and EHS regulatory authorities.
  • Manage Site Security Associates (SSAs); ensure trained and compliant with Pfizer's Security and Business Resilience program standards and requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent is required. An advanced degree would be considered as a plus.
  • 7+ years of demonstrable Security, Law Enforcement, EHS or Military experience with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Possess operational knowledge of enterprise risk management; security management; electronic security management; operational business resilience including crisis management, EHS, business continuity.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influencing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple functions and incidents simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining constructive partnerships across lines and groups thereby improving organizational effectiveness.
  • Proven experience and success leading teams/groups in reaching organizational objectives.
  • P rofessional certification and membership of relevant Industry standard bodies (e.g., IOSH / DRI / BCI / ASIS).
  • Fluency in English.


NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate will be expected to travel between Pfizer sites.
  • Non-standard work hours may be required based on project deliverables and business needs
