The Role

We are recruiting a Senior Legal Technologist to join our newly established Legal Technology Group. You will be part of shaping this new role and delivery to our impressive clients across many industries. Reporting directly to the Head of Data Solutions, the successful candidate will primarily lead the technical aspects of all data solutions projects across the firm, and be part of a high-performance culture that values creativity, integrity and excellence.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, passionate individual who is eager to play a key role in a collaborative team, committed to building a reputation for delivering a best‑in‑class client service. They will have strong technical expertise and hands-on experience leading data solutions projects using RelativityOne. We are also interested in hearing from candidates who have experience of, or a willingness to learn other technology solutions used in the delivery of legal services, particularly in the areas of document review, legal research, and transaction management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Delivery and Leadership: Working alongside the firm’s lawyers, project managers and clients to manage the RelativityOne platform on a day-to-day basis and provide technical support on a variety of review projects, including eDiscovery, investigations and Data Subject Access Requests, covering data scoping, collection, processing, review and production.

  • Platform Administration: Manage multiple RelativityOne workspaces, overseeing user access, security, configuration, system upgrades and troubleshooting.

  • Data Management: Ensure the accurate and secure handling of client data throughout the lifecycle of review projects, maintaining clear documentation, audit trails and compliance with applicable data governance standards.

  • Review Support: Design and manage review workflows in RelativityOne, including the application of AI tools within a review project ensuring that data collection, processing, document review and production processes are efficient.

  • Quality Control: Implement robust quality control standards to ensure the accuracy and defensibility of data collection, filtering and production outputs.

  • Compliance and Security: Maintain the integrity of data sets, managing audit trails and ensuring compliance with relevant information security standards.

  • Training and Support: Deliver practical training and guidance to legal teams and project managers on RelativityOne best practices and the use of AI tools within review workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in eDiscovery, litigation support or a related technical role.  

  • A high level of technical proficiency with RelativityOne; Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification is desirable.

  • Experience with other technology solutions used in the delivery of legal services.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Degree-level qualification in technology, law, business or a related discipline.
