The Senior Financial Analyst is part of the team that supports the financial planning and analysis function of the firm, including creating and maintaining reports of financial and statistical performance.Essential Duties
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Produce accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reports, including key metrics and financial results.
Develop, validate, and distribute complex reports using SQL, Power BI, and/or other reporting and analysis tools based on firm requirements.
Lead efforts in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as needed to support decision-making.
Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with the Director of Finance Systems to ensure financial business systems data integrity.
Provide mentorship and guidance for Financial Analysts.

Perform other related duties as needed or assigned.
Reporting Relationship
The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Manager of Finance and will work closely with others at various levels throughout the firm.

Qualifications
Experience
The Senior Financial Analyst should possess at least three years of relevant work experience. At least two years of legal industry experience is strongly preferred.
Skills
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting; advanced knowledge in Excel required, SQL and Power BI preferred.
Ability to work independently, in areas of responsibility.
Strong initiative and high attention to detail and accuracy.
Approachable and collaborative; team oriented.
Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to follow-up and strong follow through.
General knowledge in accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
Education
The Senior Financial Analyst should possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business concentration. CPA or MBA preferred.
Physical Demands
Must be able to move around the office up to 15% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc. Remains stationary at least 85% of the time. This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis. Occasionally required to move documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs. This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Firm attorneys, clients and staff. This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
