Who You Are:
You have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices. You possess advanced quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role requires presenting complex financial information to various stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Your Role:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of Veta Virtual. You will:
- Financial Accuracy: Review all financial transactions, including sales, internal spending, receipts, and vendor payments weekly to ensure data accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- KPI Analysis: Prepare various financial reports and analyze KPIs, including ad hoc reports following the company’s requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement new software and tools to improve bookkeeping processes, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
- Payroll Management: Review and run monthly payroll for internal teams and contractors.
- Accounts Receivable: Process monthly Accounts Receivables using Stripe, tracking credits and deductions for each client account.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- More than 4 years of experience in the Accounting and/or FP&A department or a similar position
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Excel
- The ability to work independently, self-manage, manage multiple concurrent operational tasks (ie. billing and payroll), and run new projects (such as project managing the upgrade to these systems)
- Strong analytical skills, and a background or experience in data science are preferred
- Fluent written and verbal English skills
- CPA designation is preferred
- Experience working with Xero is preferred
- Experience working in a startup is preferred
