As a critical position in Cubic’s marketing team, the senior digital marketing manager will lead the development and execution of Cubic’s global digital marketing strategy to enhance our online presence and support customer engagement and revenue growth. This role involves planning, executing and optimising digital activity such as web strategy and development, digital experiences, SEO, conversion rate optimisation, analytics and paid media (paid social & paid search).  

This is a huge opportunity for a seasoned digital marketer to build a world-class digital marketing function as Cubic scales rapidly over the next five years.  


Duties & responsibilities 

  • Own, develop and execute a successful digital marketing programme that supports Cubic’s commercial and growth goals across EMEA, the US and APAC.  
  • Evaluate target audiences, customer segmentation and buyer journeys to develop digital experiences and always-on campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate key audiences. 
  • Own and build out the marketing funnel framework and lead management process that includes lead scoring, lead distribution, lead status and clearly defined lifecycle stages. 
  • Evolve our website so it’s optimised for demand generation and drives SEO, attracts and converts leads, aligns with our go-to-market strategy and supports the buyer journey. 
  • Maximise the performance of product and campaign landing pages; manage a web development agency and implement web development processes and workflows. 
  • Lead paid media and performance marketing, including planning, executing and optimising digital campaigns such as paid search, paid social, display and programmatic.  
  • Work closely with our senior designer and creative agency to ensure paid social and display campaigns have compelling, engaging and high performing creatives and assets.  
  • Work closely with product marketing and content to ensure we have optimal content and assets on our website that attract key personas that convert into business opportunities. 
  • Own performance marketing metrics including defining critical KPIs and ongoing results. Use data to set/measure targets, optimise channel mix and maximise efficiencies and ROI. 
  • Keep abreast of new digital technologies, social media tools and digital marketing trends. 
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in building and leading a B2B digital marketing function. 
  • A deep understanding of executing demand generation across multiple digital channels. 
  • Demonstrable experience across all key digital marketing areas: Web management, landing page optimisation, SEO, SEM/PPC, CRO and CRM/HubSpot. 
  • Hands-on experience using all major digital platforms: WordPress, CMS, Google Ads / SA360, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, analytics, programmatic display, website management. 
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including synthesising data from Google Analytics and HubSpot to build an end-to-end view of customer journeys. Experience defining marketing KPIs and targets focused on marketing attribution and pipeline attainment. 
  • Demonstrable experience with A/B and multivariate testing and actioning results. 
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting monthly spend across all digital channels. 
  • A proactive self-starter who demonstrates initiative and has exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Experience managing freelancers as well as digital and creative agencies.
