The Role
With an ambition of continued growth across Europe and a core objective of delivering superior outcomes to our customers and clients, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our expanding European Compliance Monitoring & Testing (M&T) team.
The team delivers high‑impact, risk‑based inspections across all European entities. You’ll apply global methodologies and collaborate closely with US counterparts as we standardise procedures, helping to shape a consistent, scalable monitoring program. Your work will be central to executing our annual compliance monitoring plan, producing clear insights that strengthen controls and protect clients.
In this role you will
- Support the delivery of risk‑based inspections across our European entities, working alongside experienced Monitoring & Testing (M&T) team members to plan, execute, and document inspection work. You’ll help gather evidence, perform walkthroughs, and contribute to assessment of controls as part of focused and outcomes based testing
- Undertake outcomes based testing activities, following established procedures and using global methodologies to ensure consistency in how we test, document, and report across Europe
- Contribute to inspection reporting, helping draft clear, well‑structured findings and supporting the remediation tracking process. Your work will feed into high‑quality insights for business stakeholders and governance forums
- Support monthly and quarterly Management Information, helping to compile data, update dashboards, and provide commentary on inspection progress and open actions
- Help maintain and improve written monitoring procedures, identifying efficiencies, enhancing documentation, and supporting the adoption of standardised processes aligned with US teams
- Develop data skills by using Excel, and digital tools—including emerging AI capabilities—to analyse information, summarise evidence, and enhance inspection delivery
- Grow your expertise over time, building the capability needed to independently lead focused inspections as you advance, supported by structured development and on‑the‑job experience
What it takes
- A foundation in financial services, such as experience in operations, client services, risk, or another regulated business area. You don’t need prior monitoring experience, just the curiosity and drive to learn about regulation and how effective controls underpin a strong compliance culture
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and deliver to deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high‑quality documentation, accurate evidence gathering, and clear reporting outputs
- Proficiency with core technology, including Excel and a willingness to learn tools and AI‑enabled platforms used across the monitoring lifecycle
- Clear and confident communication, enabling you to interact professionally with business stakeholders, ask insightful questions during inspections, and contribute to well‑written reports.
- A collaborative mindset, eager to work as part of a growing Europe‑wide team and contribute to global alignment as monitoring processes become increasingly standardised
- A learning attitude, with an appetite to build monitoring and testing expertise through coaching, shadowing, and exposure to progressively more complex inspections
