Role: Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Technology practice who can develop and cultivate long-term client relationships, become a key contributor within multidisciplinary cross-functional project teams, embrace diversity and inclusion, and is a creative problem solver with a passion for transforming enterprise organisations.
The individual will have ownership of the support and maintenance of existing applications as well as experience of working on digital transformation and strategic change projects, assuming responsibility for the successful planning, execution and solution delivery for our public service clients.
What you will do:
Lead requirements discovery and support delivery across multiple enterprise applications, facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Analyse processes, systems and data to present insights and build strong cases for change, including user journey mapping and defining As‑Is / To‑Be states.
Produce clear functional and non‑functional requirements, coordinating reviews and ensuring alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
Collaborate closely with business users and development teams to design strategic solutions, ensure quality delivery, and track expected vs actual project benefits.
Support ongoing application maintenance and continuous improvement while developing deep domain understanding and strong stakeholder relationships.
What we are looking for:
Relevant degree (or equivalent experience), BCS/equivalent certification, and a solid IT background with a hands‑on business analysis experience.
Strong workshop facilitation, requirements elicitation, documentation, and estimation skills across the full delivery lifecycle.
Excellent communication abilities with the confidence to influence stakeholders, simplify complex topics, and build lasting relationships.
Proven experience working collaboratively in team environments, supporting QA/test activities, and applying Agile delivery methods.
Strong problem‑solving capability with experience in risk management, incident/problem processes, and delivering work from inception to support.
Bonus points for:
Exposure to digital transformation projects, public sector environments, and modern technology trends such as Cloud, APIs, IoT or GenAI.
Familiarity with ALM/project management tools, plus experience across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Additional certifications (e.g., BABOK, Agile, Jira) and understanding of custom application development environments (e.g., Java).
