Primary Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end invoicing and billing processes, including Commercial Billing, Intersegment Billing, and related invoicing workflows, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Support financial operations reporting by maintaining and improving billing input files, monthly planning support files, and tracking outputs
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment between billing activity and financial outcomes, confidently articulating assumptions and methodology
- Maintain a deep understanding of upstream billing and invoicing drivers and clearly articulate their downstream financial and operational impact
- Drive the transition from manual, file-based billing workflows to automated and scalable data solutions
- Define and enforce data quality, validation, and reconciliation controls across invoicing and billing outputs, ensuring confidence in executive-facing metrics
- Communicate complex billing and financial findings clearly to stakeholders, including explaining variances, risks, and process changes
- Act as a thought partner in ongoing data platforms and reporting modernization initiatives, including readiness for migration to Snowflake or similar cloud-based environments
- Any other activities as required

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Finance Operations, Billing, Invoicing, Revenue Cycle, or Analytics roles supporting complex, high-volume operational or financial environments
- Proven experience with billing processes, invoice cycles, reconciliation, and financial controls within a structured enterprise environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data from server-level table views and enterprise data sources
- Proven experience working with cloud-based data warehouse or analytics platforms, including querying, validation, and downstream reporting use cases
- Proven ability to analyze large, ambiguous, or incomplete data sets and identify clear conclusions, themes, and trends
- Demonstrated solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including trend analysis, root cause analysis, and connecting billing activity to business outcomes
- Demonstrated proficiency across hybrid analytics environments, including SQL and at least one additional analytics or scripting tool such as Python, R, or advanced Excel
- Proven experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes to ensure confidence in billing outputs and financial recommendations
- Demonstrated solid communication and data storytelling skills with the ability to explain outcomes, drivers, and recommended actions
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and operate effectively in evolving environments with developing data and process maturity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience supporting healthcare, revenue cycle, or other regulated operational environments where billing accuracy and financial integrity are critical
- Proven experience with Snowflake or participation in data migration and modernization initiatives involving cloud-based analytics platforms
- Demonstrated familiarity with data modeling, semantic layers, curated reporting views, or analytics engineering concepts and practices
