As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work on FxPro's Invest product - the investing proposition that lets clients invest in instruments such as stocks and ETFs. You'll cover both the client-facing product and internal platform/administration tools, shaping user journeys, operational workflows, and platform capabilities. A key part of the role is mapping how Invest works across the trading stack - accounts, instruments, liquidity, custody, settlement, and reconciliation - while collaborating with stakeholders across Product, Dealing, Operations, Platform Administration, engineering, and QA to identify dependencies and drive solution design through to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Own business and system analysis for Invest throughout the full feature lifecycle, from discovery to delivery
- Map the Invest as-is across the trading stack - accounts, instruments, liquidity / execution, custody, settlement, and reconciliation - and the dependencies between components
- Gather, analyse, validate, and document business and system requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical constraints
- Work across both the client-facing Invest product and the internal administration and back-office tools
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable documentation, including User Stories, Use Cases, UML, BPMN, and Sequence Diagrams
- Partner closely with the Invest Product Manager and engineering, providing analysis across the Invest roadmap
- Facilitate communication and collaborate effectively across Product, Dealing, Operations, Development, and QA teams throughout the task lifecycle
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Business and System Analyst
- Comfortable working with backend and platform systems and admin tooling
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines
- Quick to onboard into new domains and adapt to changing environments
- Proficiency in creating visual representations of requirements: Unified Modeling Language (UML), Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
- Experienced in writing and refining User Stories, Use Cases, and Sequence Diagrams
- Background in fintech, with an emphasis on Invest trading, is nice to have
- Familiarity with API types such as REST API, gRPC, FIX Protocol, and message queues/brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace) is a plus
- Experience working with client-facing trading platforms, internal administration tools, or operational back-office systems is an advantage
- SQL / data skills are a plus
- Experience with CI/CD processes is nice to have
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Russian is an advantage
