Role Overview

As Senior Brand Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the PokerStars brand and marketing strategy across Southern Europe, with responsibility for France, Portugal and Spain,

Reporting to the Head of Brand Strategy & Creative, you’ll translate commercial ambition into clear, compelling marketing strategies and 90-day plans that drive growth across Casino, Poker, and Sports. You’ll develop deep market understanding — spanning customers, competitors, and revenue drivers — and use this insight to guide proposition development, communications planning, and execution.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Commercial, Creative, Media, Insights, and wider Marketing teams to ensure brand propositions are consistently and effectively brought to life across all channels. You’ll act as a strategic connector — providing clarity, direction, and strong briefs — while ensuring plans remain agile, data-led, and aligned to the wider PokerStars brand.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and is well suited to an experienced brand or strategy marketer who enjoys operating in complex, multi-market environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the development and delivery of the SEU marketing and brand strategy

  • Translate commercial strategy into clear, simplified communications and marketing plans

  • Lead market, customer, and competitor understanding to guide strategic decisions

  • Develop and own 90-day marketing plans for France, Portugal and Spain

  • Partner with Insights to track performance and turn data into actionable recommendations

  • Brief and guide Creative, Media, and Engagement teams to ensure strong, consistent execution

  • Ensure brand propositions, tone of voice, and visual identity are integrated across all touchpoints

  • Identify opportunities to optimise, pivot, or innovate based on performance and insight

  • Manage a direct report, supporting their development and performance

  • Work closely with compliance, legal, and product teams to ensure all activity meets regulatory requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • Significant experience in brand, marketing, or communications strategy roles

  • Proven ability to translate commercial objectives into clear marketing strategies and plans

  • Strong experience in communications planning and briefing creative teams

  • Broad understanding of marketing disciplines and how they work together

  • Commercially minded, with experience shaping propositions and managing budgets

  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to align teams and influence decision-making

  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to turn data into insight and action

  • Experience in, or strong interest in, online gaming, sports betting, or entertainment brands

  • Fluency or strong knowledge of French, Spanish or Portuguese, highly desirable

What you’ll get:

  • Discretionary annual performance bonus

  • 30 days paid leave

  • Health and dental insurance for you, your partner and your children (if you all live at the same address)

  • Personal life assurance and partial & permanent disability insurance

  • The option to join our company pension scheme

  • A personal interest allowance to let you learn something new or pursue a hobby

  • Competitive learning fund, dedicated 4 learning “Power Hours” every month during office time, full access to the Udemy and Mindtools platforms, in-house leadership program and many other training opportunities for developing your skills and progressing your career

  • Looking to extend your family? You will receive a cash gift of 1,000 EUR for your new addition whilst working for us

  • 26 weeks primary carer leave at 100% pay & 4 weeks secondary carer leave pay at 100% pay

  • Access to an on-site gym.

*Benefits may vary based on location*
