Location: Dublin / Hybrid Working
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract / Daily Rate Engagement
Reporting To: Data & Analytics Manager

We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to support enterprise reporting, data quality, validation, governance, and analytics initiatives. This role combines business analysis, data quality management, reporting, testing, and governance responsibilities within a modern Microsoft Fabric analytics environment.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring trusted, accurate, and actionable data is available to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse business intelligence and reporting requirements across multiple business functions.
  • Coordinate and execute data validation, testing, and acceptance activities.
  • Monitor data quality, integrity, and processing outputs.
  • Investigate data anomalies, issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Produce analytical reports, data extracts, and operational insights.
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Data mapping documentation
    • Validation rules
    • Data transformation specifications
    • Audit and compliance documentation
  • Support data migration and integration activities.
  • Contribute to logical and physical data modelling activities.
  • Deliver training and guidance to business users on reporting and data interpretation.

Requirements
  • Analyse business intelligence and reporting requirements across multiple business functions.

  • Produce analytical reports, data extracts, and operational insights.

  • Support data migration and integration activities.
  • Contribute to logical and physical data modelling activities.
  • Deliver training and guidance to business users on reporting and data interpretation.

Required Experience
  • 7+ years' experience in data analysis, BI analysis, data migration, or data quality roles.
  • Strong background in:
    • Data validation and reconciliation
    • Data quality management
    • Reporting and analytics
    • Data governance
  • Experience supporting testing, acceptance, and migration activities.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of operational data and identify trends and root causes.
  • Strong SQL querying and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience producing business and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Industry certifications in BI, analytics, governance, or data management.
