What you’ll achieve

You will be responsible for ensuring our global manufacturing operations and supply chain adhere to emerging legal frameworks, particularly regarding human rights due diligence. You will own supply chain HRDD end-to-end—from risk identification to remediation—working hand-in-hand with our operations team and other internal stakeholders for targeted supplier engagement and capability building

You will work cross-functionally to design, implement, and maintain robust processes that prevent and address human rights risks across multi-tier global suppliers. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, hands-on experience in supplier engagement, and a strong understanding of international due diligence standards such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and OECD Due Diligence Guidance, as well as human rights-related regulations. SER is a compliance function, and this role will be responsible for operationalizing the requirements of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, along with other human rights-related regulations.

You will:

  • Lead the end-to-end Human Rights Due Diligence process across the supply chain, ensuring alignment with regulations (CSDDD, CSRD, etc.), the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, OECD Due Diligence Guidance, and industry best practices.
  • Own and continuously improve the company’s risk based due diligence framework, beginning with owning human right risk assessments and impact assessments. Responsible for prioritizing human rights risks using severity, likelihood, and leverage criteria to identify the most salient human rights risks in the supply chain.
  • Engage suppliers, workers, and external experts as needed to improve our HRDD, documenting findings, gaps, and root causes.
  • Develop pragmatic and scalable action plans to address prioritized risks and adverse impacts.
  • Implement monitoring systems to evaluate the effectiveness of preventive measures and corrective actions.
  • Oversee data collection, KPIs, and evidence tracking for HRDD performance, supporting digitalization of workflows where applicable.
  • Strengthen supplier grievance mechanisms, worker‑voice channels, and escalation protocols. Evaluate and document remediation outcomes and integrate lessons learned into continuous improvement.
  • Support compliance by serving as a human rights SME for voluntary and mandatory disclosures. Ensure due diligence outputs align with disclosure data and narrative requirements, as well as assurance expectations.

Essential Requirements:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in human rights due diligence, ESG compliance, or supply chain sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of international human rights frameworks (UNGPs, OECD Due Diligence Guidance, ILO conventions) and the evolving human rights regulatory landscape.
  • Proven success in compliance framework development and implementation in a corporate setting.
  • Hands-on experience conducting supply chain risk assessments, supplier engagement, and corrective action management.
  • Experience working with suppliers in high‑risk regions or categories.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven strong executive communication skills.

Desirable requirements

  • Masters in human rights, sustainability, international affairs, public policy, or related field.
  • Experience in IT, electronics, or manufacturing supply chains.
  • Knowledge of customer sustainability platforms, audit schemes, ecolabel criteria, disclosure drafting and publication.
