To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join us full-time as soon as possible. You would be working in a hybrid setup from our Warsaw office

What You'll Work On

  • As part of our team, you will prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB, utilizing entries based on US-GAAP.
  • In close collaboration with local tax advisors, you will ensure that all relevant information is provided accurately and on time.
  • Together with our legal department, you will review GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) calculations, ensuring they are correct and compliant with the law.
  • You will identify areas for improvement in existing accounting processes and implement optimizations independently.

Your Experiences and Qualifications

  • A completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification, complemented by at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, ideally in the medical technology or pharmaceutical industry, with experience in bookkeeping according to HGB.
  • Familiarity with local legal requirements, particularly in relation to the preparation of financial reports in SAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as a strong numerical understanding.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
