The Opportunity

For our Warsaw location we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant / Entity Controller to join our great finance team.

This will be an office-based position, requiring regular presence in our office - Mokotow, Warsaw.

 

What You'll do:

  • Coordinate and perform Fixed Assets management.
  • Coordinate and perform Inventory costing, Inventory reconciliations.
  • Post accrual journal entries and other month-end journal entries.
  • Prepare polish statutory reports.
  • Prepare/review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
  • Analyze balances of GL accounts, prepare reconciliations.
  • Support/run various accounting, tax and legal projects.
  • Ensure the appropriate control environment and supporting documentation required by corporate policies and SOX standards.
  • Provide information to internal customers (FP&A, tax, internal auditors, external statutory auditors).
  • Other adhoc accounting duties as required.
     

Required qualifications & background:

  • University degree in finance or accounting.
  • Good accounting and/or finance background, Independent accountant.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in different functions in finance in multinational organization.
  • Very good English (both written and spoken).
  • SAP experience is a must.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Team player, with strong communication skills.
