The Opportunity
For our Warsaw location we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant / Entity Controller to join our great finance team.
This will be an office-based position, requiring regular presence in our office - Mokotow, Warsaw.
What You'll do:
- Coordinate and perform Fixed Assets management.
- Coordinate and perform Inventory costing, Inventory reconciliations.
- Post accrual journal entries and other month-end journal entries.
- Prepare polish statutory reports.
- Prepare/review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
- Analyze balances of GL accounts, prepare reconciliations.
- Support/run various accounting, tax and legal projects.
- Ensure the appropriate control environment and supporting documentation required by corporate policies and SOX standards.
- Provide information to internal customers (FP&A, tax, internal auditors, external statutory auditors).
- Other adhoc accounting duties as required.
Required qualifications & background:
- University degree in finance or accounting.
- Good accounting and/or finance background, Independent accountant.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in different functions in finance in multinational organization.
- Very good English (both written and spoken).
- SAP experience is a must.
- Advanced Excel.
- Team player, with strong communication skills.
