Salesforce Engineer

Join the Monetization Sales Tools team at Yahoo as a Salesforce Engineer and contribute to our revenue growth and client success. You'll work on sales enablement solutions built primarily on Salesforce, supporting our sales and B2B teams in delivering cutting-edge digital media solutions. This role offers a collaborative environment where you'll work alongside cross-functional teams to enhance Yahoo's capabilities in the dynamic digital advertising landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Salesforce configurations and customizations aligned with product requirements and user stories.

• Build scalable Salesforce solutions including custom objects, workflows, process builders, and validation rules.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, and senior engineers in an agile environment to deliver features and enhancements.

• Implement and test Salesforce solutions, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.

• Participate actively in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Document technical implementations and maintain clear communication with team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Established hands-on Salesforce experience in a developer or engineer capacity within B2B enterprise environments.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and core functionality.

• Working knowledge of Salesforce development including Apex basics, Flow Builder, and declarative automation tools.

• Understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and integration patterns.

• Experience working in agile/SCRUM teams with familiarity in sprint-based delivery.

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-motivated learner comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Developer certification or working toward certification.

• Exposure to Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and deployment tools.

• Interest in emerging Salesforce technologies including AI and automation capabilities.
